A new project of enhancing impact of civil society organizations in the field of environmental protection and climate change

On 1 January 2021, Centre for Development and Support CRP started with the implementation of a new project “GreenWorks” with the aim of increasing the impact of civil society organisations from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the environmental protection and climate change, through networking capacity building and promotion of air and soil protection.

A three-year project will be implemented in BiH focusing to Tuzla Canton and wider Banja Luka region, and its main activities include trainings for representatives of civil society organisations on CSOs capacities in terms of their sustainability and Climate change and environmental protection trainings with specific topics related to green solutions in soil and air protection, sub-granting for civil society organisations, development of a study and awareness raising campaign, etc.

The project is implemented in partnership with organisations Rural Development Network in BiH from Istočno Sarajevo and Centre for Economic and Rural Development CERD from Banja Luka.

The project is financed by the European Union within Civil Society Facility and Media Programme for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2019 – Support to existing and newly established CSOs networks in various areas.
